Dear All the expected participants for IWIS2020, Ulsan (July 22-24):
As we all understanding the current COVID-19 affecting conference management, we should rearrange
the schedule to postpone to Dec. 13-15 for the physical conference not virtual. This type of unexpected change may cause you to some trouble managing your shedule.
The organizing committee cordially asks you to understand the necessity to reschedule this conference date. Accordingly, we changed the all the timeline for the following as if we reorganizing the conference.

Paper Submission Instructions
Prospective authors are invited to electronically submit full regular papers of their work using the link above. English is the working language of the conference. Regular and Special Session papers are limited to six (6) pages of A4 or letter format. An additional 2 pages can be included at an extra fee.
Authors must adhere to the IEEE Conference paper format. The draft version of papers should be submitted for review before the submission deadline.
IEEE is strict about the requirements for PDF files for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library. It is strongly recommended to use the set of templates in MS Word and LaTeX formats provided by IEEE. Please use them to create your paper (please do not modify the style or the format).

Please make sure that only original work is being submitted (not previously published/copyrighted). The conference will be using the CrossCheck automated screening system to verify the originality of papers. IEEE takes disciplinary actions when violations are detected.

For the camera-ready paper, please read the following camera-ready instruction and the comments raised by reviewers. The authors of each accepted paper should submit by 23rd November 2020, in Korean Standard Time (1800 KST).
The camera-ready paper must follow the IEEE conference format. You can obtain the template via the website:

We recommend using the LaTeX template. The length of the paper is limited to 4-6 pages (including references). Please follow the following steps to submit the camera-ready version of your paper:
1. Revise your paper based on the reviewers’ comments.
2. Upload your paper’s PDF file in EasyChair. (Proceedings Author -> Update Paper)
Electronic Copyright Form (eCF)
After submitting the camera-ready version, please follow instructions distributed via a separate email for copyright transfer to IEEE.
1.Proceedings Author -> Sign IEEE Copyright.
2.The authors of each accepted paper should submit eCF by 23rd November 2020, in Korean Standard Time (1800 KST).

2020) will be held in University of Ulsan,
Republic of Korea, from December 13 – 15, 2020. The Workshop offers a unique and interesting
platform for scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present and share their
recent research and innovative ideas in intelligent systems and theirs applications.
About IWIS
Rapid changes in information technologies have led to a
boost in the strength and efficiency of
human activity. These technologies have an influence on every area of human life, including
education, science, business, leisure time, entertainment, government, and health care. Human
life is greatly dependent on these systems’ efficiency and performance. The IWIS has been
prepared as a platform for exchanging ideas, knowledge, skills and experiences in interactions
between man and these systems. The IWIS series has become one of the most important
international workshop in the field of intelligent systems.

Presentation Details
The registered papers must be presented as an ORAL presentation.
a) Oral session :
- 10-12 minutes presentation in an oral session
- 3-5 minutes Q&A
b) Local participants :
- There will be an onsite presentation. The local participants can present virtually if they feel burdened to travel during the COVID situation.
c) International Participants (Out of Korea): 2 Options
- Present their paper via ZOOM on the presentation day.
- Submit a recorded video.
The video would be played on the presentation day.
However, the authors still need to be connected via ZOOM to answer questions from the floor.
If you choose to submit a recorded video, please send us the link by 7th December.
The link could be Google Drive, DropBox, or Youtube.

Registration & Payment
Due to issues with the payment system, the authors are requested to send an email with the registration option (IEEE or IES member) with the proof of membership.
Please check the conference website for the type of options available. The email should have the subject “Registration Invoice Request”. Please include paper ID, registering author name, and title for our convenience. The organizers will then send a request for payment via PayPal
